The YubiKey Bio Series does not work with LastPass. U2F never became an open web standard and was subsumed by the Web Authentication API (launched in Chrome 67). It allows sites to register public key credentials on USB security keys and challenge them for building phishing-resistant two-factor authentication systems. In this case, the extension will automatically update when new versions are released. For general testing, we recommend installing it from the Chrome Web Store here. Additionally, Firefox no longer supports the u2f extension anymore.
